Bull Buchanan Barry “Bull” Buchanan is a 30-year wrestling veteran who is still working the independent wrestling circuit. At 6 ft 7, almost 300 pounds, Buchanan has performed for some of the most well-respected promotions in the wrestling business. Buchanan debuted in 1995 on the independent circuit as “The Punisher”, where he teamed with Ric “The Body Count” Savage to compete for the NCW titles, where Jim Crornette recruited him for Smokey Mountain Wrestling. December of 1995 came the end of Buchanan in Smokey Mountain however; 1996 Buchanan changed his gimmick to “The Stud” and joined ECW where he was a tag team called “The Dark Riders”. During his time with ECW, Buchanan signed a developmental contract with WWE, then WWF, and became “Recon the Truth Commission”. March of 1997, Buchanan and his tag partner won the World Tag Team Championship, which they held three times before being called to the main roster of WWF. June 1997, Buchanan along with most of the “Truth Commission” debuted during a Shotgun Saturday Night episode. The “Truth Commission” ended in 1998, after a match at Armageddon where the tag team left TV, Buchanan however, was sent to OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) for developmental training. March 2000 Buchanan returned to TV once again where he teamed with Big Boss Man as his tag team partner/ protege. Buchanan had a match at WrestleMania 2000 finding success and again at Backlash. The Buchanan Boss Man tag team came to an end June of 2000. After competing in the King of The Ring Tournament, Buchanan joined Right to Censor where he found himself on many WWF PPV’s. Buchanan and the “Goodfather” even won Tag Team gold against the Hardy Boyz. After the disbandment of Right to Censor, Buchanan once again was sent to OVW until his return in 2002. November 2002 Buchanan changed his gimmick again and became B-2 joining with John Cena. 2003 came the end of his Cena went their separate ways and Buchanan's time with the WWF. From 2003 – 2007 Buchanan was working for All Japan Pro Wrestling where he briefly tagged with AJ Steele winning the GCW tag team championship. From 2007 until present time Buchanan floated to many different promotions, but one thing remains, the 30 year veteran has a wrestling career noteworthy and aww inspiring.
